🥔 Cabbage and Potato Skillet Recipe

Servings: 4–6
Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp olive oil or butter

  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 4 cups diced farm potatoes

  • ½ cup broth or water

  • 1 small head green cabbage, chopped

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice

  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium. Add onions and cook until softened. Stir in garlic.

  2. Add diced potatoes. Cook 5 minutes to brown slightly.

  3. Add broth and cover. Simmer for 10–12 minutes until potatoes are fork-tender.

  4. Stir in cabbage, salt, pepper, and paprika. Cover and cook another 10–12 minutes until soft.

  5. Uncover, add vinegar, stir well, and garnish with parsley.
