🥔 Cabbage and Potato Skillet Recipe
Servings: 4–6
Time: 40 minutes
Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups diced farm potatoes
- ½ cup broth or water
- 1 small head green cabbage, chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium. Add onions and cook until softened. Stir in garlic.
- Add diced potatoes. Cook 5 minutes to brown slightly.
- Add broth and cover. Simmer for 10–12 minutes until potatoes are fork-tender.
- Stir in cabbage, salt, pepper, and paprika. Cover and cook another 10–12 minutes until soft.
- Uncover, add vinegar, stir well, and garnish with parsley.
