Hoya

This unique houseplant is a vine (but don't worry; it's not a fast-growing one!) that has thick, waxy leaves and clusters of star-shaped waxy flowers. It's among the most tolerant of all houseplants.

These easy to care for plants have been increasingly popular and with good reason! Hoya 'Speckled Pubicalyx' are drought tolerant plants that require infrequent watering, making them ideal for busy or slightly neglectful plant parents. They product beautiful flowers that resemble bouquets of stars, and are great climbing/trailing plants. Hoya will grow stems without leaves first to explore the surrounding area. Once the Hoya has determined resources are available in that area the bare stems will start to produce beautiful waxy leaves.

Hoya carnosa 'Krimson Queen' is a beautiful variegated cultivar of the Hoya family. This beautiful plant has thick, lance-shaped leaves and has creamy yellow to white shades in the center of the leaf. The young leaves are bright pink in color and develop over time the colors of an adult leaf. It is an ideal choice for a hanging planter in your urban jungle!
